Scotland has a great network of cycle paths, we left the motorhome on site at\u00a0 Achindarroch, and used the Sustrans path which runs from Oban to Fort William. The path was virtually empty, with fantastic views across the mountains and lochs.<\/p>\n

In hindsight we could also have taken them on the foot ferry to Kerrera Island, as when we got there we found the paths were dry and wide. We ended up walking 8 miles that afternoon, but well worth the effort to get the iconic Gylen castle to ourselves.<\/p>\n

Plenty of positive comments when we used them to move around within the campsites, and one of the campsite owners decided to buy one for himself!<\/p>\n
